Woah, that's really good! I love this "paint" style, and this is pretty unique. You are right about the "beautiful" factor, as they, well, are cacti. What I think you could've done is maybe put a steer or human (preferably steer) skull in the background to remind the audience of the danger.
4.5 because no one deserves 5 ;)
